Hi! I am Geri
Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of startups and venture capital: as a VC, as an operator, and as a mentor to hundreds of founders.
I spent five years at one of the leading VC funds in Southeast Europe, reviewing thousands of decks, running due diligence processes, and sitting in countless partner meetings where decisions were made. I’ve helped deploy millions in capital, and seen firsthand what gets deals over the line (and what kills them).
Before that, I led fundraising from inside startups, so I know what it feels like to build a deck from scratch, chase investor meetings for months, and get vague rejections with no real feedback. I’ve made the same mistakes I now help others avoid.
Now I’ve packaged all of that into VC Compass - my place to share everything I’ve learn along the way, from investing, working in startups and mentoring founders.
